The hybrid nanomaterials based on SiO2 and cellulose ethers - hydroxypropyl cellulose, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose and carboxymethyl cellulose, and silver were prepared by sol-gel method. The antifungal effect was quantified against P. chrysogenum 2303 based on the inhibition zone measurement by the agar diffusion test.
