The proposed scheme is well-suited for EM investigation of two-dimensional (2D) materials that are increasingly becoming key components in the development of terahertz (THz) frequency devices. We also discuss the electronic properties of 2D materials that control the EM scattering, out of which existence of plasma waves at THz frequencies is most significant. Finally, the far-field scattering response for infinitesimally thin 2D materials is presented.enElectromagnetic Scattering of Two- Dimensional Electronic SystemsArticle
