Item Изучаване на комплексообразувателни равновесия с участие на метални йони и органични лиганди: състав, сензорна активност и приложение(University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy, 2023) Артъом Вадимович БезфамилнийThe primary goal of the dissertation work is to investigate complex-forming equilibrium processes involving metal ions and organic ligands containing electron-donor groups for stable chelate binding, as well as to apply the complex-forming properties of the studied ligands for metal detection in real samples. The following tasks were assigned to accomplish the goal: Objectives: 1. Investigating the possibility of Zn(II), Cu(II), Co(II), Ni(II), and Pb(II) ions intervening in complex-forming reactions with newly synthesized derivatives of organic compounds from classes with a broad scientific response as chelating agents: hydantoin derivatives and azo-azomethine derivatives. 2. Studies of equilibrium processes between metal ions and organic ligands in "model solutions" (hydantoin and azo-azomethine derivatives). Voltammetry and UV-Vis spectrometry are used to characterize the obtained complex compounds. 2.1 Voltammetric analyses. Differential pulse polarography (DPP) and cyclic voltammetry to prove the preparation of the complex compounds and study the possibility of detection and determination of metal ions in real samples. 2.2 Determination of stability constants of complex compounds by processing spectrometric and voltammetric data. 2.3 Spectrophotometric analysis of the obtained complex compounds' stoichiometric composition. 3. Isolation in pure form and characterization of some organometallic compounds. 4. Studying the possibility of application of the studied organic ligands as sensors for the detection of metal ions in water samples.
