dc.description.abstract | Modeling of the thermo physical properties of the material in the foaming zone of an installation for continuous band of foam glass manufacture is presented. The initial physical assumptions concerning the implementation of the process are pointed out. The changes of properties like density, thermal conductivity, and specific heat capacity of the foamed material, i.e. a mixture of glass powder and foamers are followed in the course of the heating process. | |
