The breakthrough time (tB) for new types of gas mask carbons exposed to chloropicrin, hydrogen cyanide and dicyan (Cl3CNO2, HCN and (CN)2) is determined. The influence of the modifiers К2СО3 and triethylenediamine (TEDA) as additives to the impregnation compositions of gas mask carbons against toxic gases has been studied. A relationship between the studied textural parameters and the detoxification of the substances has been established.
